Political Analyst Professor Adam Habib says the election of the 80 ANC NEC members at the party’s 53rdNational Conference in Mangaung is clearly what is termed block or slate voting.Habib says the result of the NEC election comes as no surprise as the entire conference was characterised by such voting.He says it’s clear that those who made it into the NEC are aligned to the current top leadership of the party.
