The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says it will consider coalitions with other parties only if they support its vision for land expropriation without compensation and the nationalisation of mines.
EFF premier candidate for the Western Cape, Nazier Paulsen, says he thinks the party will do well in the province in the May 7 elections.
He predicts that they will get at least 22 seats in the provincial Parliament.
Paulsen says he will spend Monday putting up their first candidate posters on the Cape Flats.
He says that Cape Town is the province with the highest level of inequality.
“We have dire conditions in the informal settlement, the crime and violence rate is high,” says Paulsen. He adds that the EFF is serious about addressing the root of these problems in the province.
