The EFF has said that its members will accompany the Gardee family to the Nelspruit Magistrate Court as the suspects arrested for the murder of Hillary Gardee appear in court on Monday morning.

In a statement the EFF says that they and the Gardee family will ensure that the police have all the adequate resources to carry out their investigations.

The body of Hillary Gardee, who was the daughter of former EFF secretary-general, Goodrich Gardee, was found close to Lydenburg Road nearby Mbombela in Mpumalanga last Tuesday. She was laid to rest yesterday.

Two more suspects apprehended

The party has welcomed the subsequent arrest of two more suspects in the case following the arrest of the first suspect on Friday, and say they will allow the police to do their work.

Police spokesperson, Donald Mdhluli says that the recently apprehended suspects who are aged 47 and 52, were arrested between midnight and morning on Sunday and are facing charges of murder. They will be joined with the 39-year old suspect who was caught and arrested on Friday.
