Economics Freedom Fighters (EFF) Deputy President Floyd Shivambu will be opening a corruption case against Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan at the Hillbrow Police station in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
A court battle between the EFF and Gordhan follows revelations from Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng that Gordhan had called his office to set up a meeting in an attempt to inquire how Judge Dhaya Pillay performed in the Judicial Service Commission interviews.
CJ Mogoeng Mogoeng relayed to the JSC, how Gordhan attempted to find out how a candidate did in an interview.
