The EFF says any cabinet that includes Malusi Gigaba and Nomvula Mokonyane ought to be rejected.

The Economic Freedom Fighters says President Cyril Ramaphosa‘s cabinet reshuffle is nothing to write home about.

Despite the removal of controversial figures such as David Mahlobo, Mosebenzi Zwane and Des Van Rooyen from the executive, the party says more people should have been removed from cabinet.

Party secretary general Godrich Gaardee says any cabinet that has the name of Malusi Gigaba and Nomvula Mokonyane ought to be rejected.

He says: “You cannot take Malusi Gigaba back to Home Affairs, the origin of all state capture and the suspicious citizenship that was given to foreign Indian nationals who captured the state.”

“This is nothing but a reconfiguration of cabals and cliques of the Nasrec conference of the ANC. Nothing short of voting out the ANC will actually restore the dignity and economic recovery in this country,” adds Gaardee.
