EFF confirms Hillary Gardee’s death

The  Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has confirmed that Hillary Gardee, the daughter of former EFF Secretary-General Attorney Godrich Gardee, has died.

In a statement, the EFF says the body of the 28-year-old student was found outside Mbombela, in Mpumalanga, after she had gone missing on Friday.

She was last seen shopping at a plaza in Mbombela. Gardee was with a three-year-old girl when she went missing, but the child was later found.

Earlier, police in Mpumalanga appealed for  assistance from the public.

A missing person poster with her face was posted and shared across social media platforms following her dissaperance.

The EFF is saddened by the disappearance of the daughter of our Former SG @GardeeGodrich
