The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is celebrating its eighth anniversary on Monday.
So far, it is the country’s third biggest political party with at least 44 Members of Parliament in the National Assembly following the 2019 national elections.
Its firebrand leader Julius Malema says it broke his heart to see former President Jacob Zuma going to jail.
Malema once led the charge for Zuma’s removal as head of state and called for his arrest.
But speaking in an exclusive interview with SABC News, Malema said Zuma’s arrest was painful to watch.
