Newly-elected Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Treasurer-General, Omphile Maotwe says the party is cautious of where it gets its funding from.

After the second National People’s Assembly in Johannesburg, the Economic Freedom Fighters have a new leadership save for the positions of the president and deputy, where both Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu were re-elected respectively.

Godrich Gardee was replaced by Marshall Dlamini as the party’s secretary-general.

Building up to the conference, there were allegations of differences within the party’s top leadership, while the EFF refuted this, some of the election outcomes are close to what was being predicted.

Speaking to Morning Live, Maotwe says the EFF is funded by their own members and those that are sympathetic to its cause.
