Economic Freedom Fighters in Tshwane is calling on malls and shopping centres to evict clothing store, H&M from their premises.

EFF members stormed the H&M store in Menlyn, east of Pretoria, protesting over offensive inscriptions on clothes. Inscriptions include “Coolest monkey in the jungle” on clothes modeled by a black boy and “Survival Expert on a white boy.

EFF Tshwane region chairperson Benjamin Disolwane says failure to evict all H& M shops will result in daily protests.

“We are here as fighters to demonstrate on behalf of our people because we all know this is one of the racists shops in the country. We are saying to them this shop must close with immediate effect.”

“If they are not going to close the shop we will be here time and again until this shop close and we are calling to the management of this complex, this mall here to remove the store.”
