Economy, jobs to come under spotlight at Luthuli House

The country’s economic and jobs crises will come under the spotlight when the African National Congress (ANC) and its alliance partners Congress of SA Trade Unions (Cosatu) and the SA Communist Party (SACP) meet at Luthuli House later on Monday.

The Alliance Political Council meeting will receive a report on a unified economic strategy for the country.

This follows an instruction by the Council earlier month that alliance partners come up with a holistic approach to the economy.

The nine member Alliance Economic Working Group was set to up to look at a number of interventions to get the economy back on track.
