The African National Congress (ANC) leadership in the Eastern Cape will on Monday afternoon meet with the party’s top six led by President Cyril Ramaphosa, at the International Convention Centre in East London.
The Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) led by Chairperson Oscar Mabuyane requested the meeting ahead of the start of the ANC National Working Committee set to take place in the same venue later on Monday afternoon.
Issues expected to be discussed include the alleged frosty relationship between the PEC and the provincial government led by Premier Phumulo Masualle.
The meeting is also expected to tackle issues related to political instability in some regions in the province.
