A week after the passing of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela tributes continue to pour in at her Orlando home in Soweto.

Young and old, are all paying their last respects.

A delegation of Eastern Cape Traditional leaders also visited the family led by the delegation from the Amampondo tribe.

Previously some traditional leaders had called for Madikizela-Mandela to be buried in the Eastern Cape.

But provincial chair of Contralesa, Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana says they will respect the families’ wishes that she to be buried in Johannesburg.

Meanwhile, players from two Soweto soccer giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, have visited Winnie’s house on Monday afternoon to pay their respects.

The captains of both teams laid wreaths outside the house before making their way in a marquee where they signed a condolence book.

On Monday, memorial services were held around the country in honour of the struggle icon.

On Tuesday another memorial service will be held at her birthplace in Bizana, Eastern Cape.
