The 7th annual Ebubeleni Urban Festival kicks off in Port Elizabeth on Friday. It is the first time in seven years that the festival will be extended over a three day period and not the usual one day music extravaganza.
The festival will kick off with a Hip Hop vs Gqom event that will see artists such as Nasty C, DJ Tira, Lady Zamar and many many more.
Day two will focus on a comedy day and day three will see the main event.
Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Mongameli Bobani says that this is a great economic spin-off for the city.
“Economically we are benefiting because we are expecting our tourists around the country and around the globe to come here and visit nelson Mandela Bay, they know that we are ready for them. We are a city hereby we welcome everyone we are the best city and economically we will have great spin-offs,” Bobani.
