Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane has announced a cabinet reshuffle which sees MEC Nomakhosazana Meth moved from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Health.
Meth replaces Sindiswa Gomba who was fired in February.
Nonqubela Peters has been moved from the Department of Housing to the Department of Agriculture while Nonceba Khontsiwe has been appointed as the new Housing MEC.
Mabuyane says all have been appointed in a bid to strengthen leadership in these departments and in the provincial government.
