Baroka FC head coach Dylan Kerr is happy to be reunited with Ivan Mahangwahaya saying he needs to be playing regularly at this stage of his career.

Baroka FC head coach Dylan Kerr has confirmed that midfielder Ivan Mahangwahaya has signed with the club until the end of the season after he was laid off by Bidvest Wits.

The player has been training with the side this week and featured in Baroka’s 5-0 win over an SANDF side in Polokwane on Wednesday.

Kerr is happy to be reunited with Mahangwahaya saying he needs to be playing regularly at this stage of his career.

The coach is pleased that the friendly provided his strikers a chance to gain some confidence in finishing.

Kerr also reveals that he is looking at Ghanaian forward, Nicolas Gyan, who is trialing with Bakgaga.

Meanwhile, Kerr will sit on the bench in a competitive game when Bakgaga’s Absa go away to Highlands Park in Tembisa on Saturday night (Kick-off at 20:15).

This is for the first time he will be in charge of the dugout since his appointment in December.

Kerr watched Baroka’s last five matches from the stands as he was waiting for his work permit to be sorted. He says he is relieved but also knows there will be pressure on him.
