Duduzane Zuma to appear in court

The lawyer of Duduzane Zuma has confirmed that he will appear at the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Monday where he is set to face charges.

The 34-year-old Zuma is expected to be charged in connection with his alleged involvement in the Gupta plot to bribe former Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas.

Jonas was allegedly offered the position of finance minister as well as a bribe of R600 million.

On Thursday, former president Jacob Zuma’s son travelled back to South Africa from Dubai for his brother Vusi’s funeral on Friday.

He was then briefly detained at OR Tambo International Airport. Lawyer Rudi Krause assured the Hawks that Zuma will present himself at court.
