Rising hockey star, Edith Molikoe’s dreams of representing her country have become a reality. The Gqeberha-based hockey star is going to the biggest multi-sports event on earth, the Tokyo Olympic Games as part of the South African contingent. The COVID-19 pandemic nearly shattered her dreams, but the 21-year-old never lost hope. Molikoe is a regular in national colours, having played for the national under-16, under-18, under-21 and the women’s indoor hockey side.
