Democratic Republic of Congo’s Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde tendered his resignation on Tuesday, triggering the dissolution of his entire government, the presidency said in a statement.
Lukonde has been in the position since February 2021.
He is a member of the Future of Congo political party.
Lukonde was named Minister of Youth, Sports, and Leisure in 2014, when Joseph Kabila was president.
