The Mpumalanga High Court, sitting in Middelburg, has given a double life sentence to each of the three men accused of killing the 13-year-old girl with albinism Gabisile Shabane and her two-year-old cousin, Nkosikhona Ngwenya at Emalahleni in Mpumalanga.

The children were abducted from their home. Gabisile’s mutilated body was found in a shallow grave in Pretoria and Nkosinathi’s body was found along the highway.

Traditional Healer Thokozane Msibi, Knowledge Mhlanga and Brilliant Mkhize were all found guilty for the murder of Shabane and Ngwenya who had been kidnapped from their home in Vosman in 2018.

The court has also dismissed their application for leave to appeal.
