Reading Time: < 1 minute

The 20th official South African Disabled Golf Open got underway Monday at the Magalies Park country club in the North West.

It’s an international amateur competition that caters for golfers with different disabilities – amputees, deaf, visually impaired and Les Autres.

Lily Reich, tournament director from the SA disabled golf association, shares that it’s more than possible for disabled golfers to play and excel in golf.

“It’s about our abilities and not our disabilities and that is what we look towards.”
