An urgent application to interdict the Limpopo ANC provincial elective conference which is now under way in Polokwane, is to be heard in the Johannesburg High Court at eleven o’clock on Saturday morning.

Advocate Tumi Mokoena, representing four disgruntled ANC members, says they want the provincial conference to be postponed.  The members argue that the provincial executive committee is illegitimate.

Meanwhile, the conference began at about one o’clock on Saturday morning after a long registration process.

Addressing the delegates, ANC NEC deployee in Limpopo, Thoko Didiza has discouraged party members from resorting to courts of law to resolve internal disputes.
