David Mabuza says Juluis Malema's sacking will continue to haunt the ANC.

African National Congress Deputy President, David Mabuza says the decision to fire then Youth League leader, Julius Malema from the party was regrettable.

Malema who was seen as a vocal opponent of former ANC President, Jacob Zuma was fired in 2012 on several disciplinary charges and founded.

Malema launched the EFF in 2013, less than a year before the 2014 general elections. Mabuza says Malema’s sacking will continue to haunt the ANC.

“And I feel that the ANC has lost in comrade Julius. The ANC will be better off with him inside the fold. So I’m going to do my best to request him to reconsider coming back home.”

Mabuza added that he would like Economic Freedom Fighter leader Julius Malema to rejoin the governing party.
