Netball South Africa (NSA) President Cecilia Molokwane says she has high expectations from the President of the Republic Cyril Ramaphosa in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday night.

Molokwane was speaking at the farewell breakfast of the Limpopo U19 side to the National Championships in Polokwane on Thursday morning.

Molokwane would like to see Ramaphosa speak seriously about the sport budget.

Molokwane was pleased to see the Limpopo U19 team get cash injection from local organisations.

The Limpopo Gambling Board donated R250 000 to the side to help with logistics for the national championships in Cape Town from next week.

Molokwane says the donation means a lot, and encouraging the same energy from other provinces.

Molokwane also revealed at the event that the Spar Proteas players are going to sign new contracts that will see them earn R20 000 from R5000.
