The federal executive of the Democratic Alliance has confirmed its suspension of City of Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille from party activities pending the outcome of ongoing investigations into a series of reports.
An affidavit containing allegations of maladministration in the city, is also asking de Lille to give reasons why she shouldn’t resign as mayor.
This comes after a DA subcommittee’s conclusion of an investigation into the allegations.
