Former Cape Town mayor, Patricia de Lille, has announced that she has formed a new political party. Speaking at a press conference in Cape Town, De Lille emphasized that its time for a new political order in our country.
The new party will contest the 2019 National Elections in all provinces of the country, said De Lille. However, has not announced the name of the party stating that she will only make that announcement in the next two weeks.
Two months ago, she announced her resignation as Cape Town Mayor, during a media conference with DA leader, Mmusi Maimane.
De Lille also added that she is prepared for the DA, and that she was approached by the EFF and ANC to join them.
