The Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Federal Executive Chairperson, James Selfe, together with party spokesperson, Solly Malatsi, will be present at the Independent Electoral Commission’s (IEC) National Results Operations Center (ROC) in Tshwane.
Both Selfe and Malatsi will be stationed at the ROC to monitor, observe and provide comment on the election results as the ballots are counted.
The DA adds that they are confident that their message of building One South Africa for All has reached the homes of millions of citizens.
The party hopes to achieve their objectives of retaining the Western Cape, bringing the African National Congress (ANC) below 50% in Gauteng and Northern Cape while increasing their national share of the vote.
