Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Chairperson Ivan Meyer has officially opened the DA’s virtual Manifesto launch ahead of the November 1 Local Government Elections.
Meyer says the manifesto is an evidence-based document reflecting what matters to people in local communities.
He says it represents a social contract with South Africans about how the DA will rebuild municipalities through a culture and servant leadership.
“Our manifesto is not a promise but a commitment to serve the voters in every ward across South Africa. We in the DA will secure your future and the future of your loved ones and family. Where we govern we get things done, while some parties talk about things we in the DA get things done.”
