Former Soweto Students’ Representative Council (SSRC) leader Dan Montsitsi recounts events that led to June 16, 1979. Montsitsi was one of the leaders that orchestrated the uprising. Montsitsi speaks about how the uprising turned violent and the aftermath of June 16 which eventually led to his arrest. Montsitsi was arrested almost a year after the June 16 Soweto Student Uprising.
