Democratic Alliance leaders have visited Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini’s palace at Osuthu in KwaNongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Recently the party has come out in support of the King, as speculation is high that the African National Congress resolution on land expropriation without compensation could affect the land under the Ingonyama Trust Board, run by the Zulu royal house.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane along with Federal Chairperson Athol Trollip and the newly elected KZN provincial leaders were scheduled to meet the traditional monarch.
Last month, the ANC top six leaders also met King Zwelithini.
