CSIR early predictions for the eight metros

The CSIR has made early predictions as to the outcome of party support in the metros.

In Nelson Mandela Bay, with 13.2% of voting districts declared, it predicts 44.2% for the DA, 38.5% for the ANC and 6% for the EFF.
In Buffalo City, with 4.8% voting districts declared, the CSIR predicts that 60.3% of the vote will go to the ANC, 18.9% to the DA and 9.6% to the EFF.
For Mangaung, with 15.9% voting districts declared, the prediction is 49.8% for the ANC, 24.6% for the DA and 11.3% for the EFF.
The CSIR predicts that in the City of Johannesburg, with 10.1% voting districts declared, the ANC will take the lead with 36.3% of the vote, the DA 31.4% and the EFF with 12.3%.
It gives the ANC 39.3% support in Ekurhuleni with 19.9% of voting districts declared. The prediction also puts the DA at 29.8%, and the EFF at 12.8%.
In the City of Tshwane, with 8.4% voting districts declared, it predicts that the DA will get 34.4%, the ANC 33.9% and the EFF 12%.
The prediction for eThekwini with 1.1% of voting districts declared, is42.1% for the ANC, the DA 27.8% and the EFF 11.4%.
For the City of Cape Town with 13.1% of voting districts declared, the CSIR’s early prediction is that the DA will score 54% of the vote, the ANC 20.5% and the Good Party 4%.
