CSA drops all charges against coach Mark Boucher

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has dropped all charges against national coach Mark Boucher, including charges of racism.

CSA will contribute towards Boucher’s legal costs. The decision to withdraw the charges was made on the basis that Boucher’s accuser, former Proteas player Paul Adams, recently announced that he had withdrawn from testifying against the national coach.

Boucher’s former assistant, Enoch Nkwe who had described the vibe in the Proteas camp as toxic, decided that he too did not wish to testify against Boucher during the disciplinary hearing.

CSA says Boucher can now focus on preparing the national side for its tour to England in July.
