Both factions are expected to explain to Judge Moses Mavundla, why they claim to be the leaders of the PAC.

The two Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) factions led by Mzwanele Nyhontso and Narius Moloto will know their fate at the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday.

This as the court is set to decide which faction of the party is the legitimate leadership that will appear on the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) ballot paper during the May 8 elections.

Earlier this week, the Nyhontso faction took the IEC to court in a bid to force it to recognize their faction within the party.

Both factions are expected to explain to Judge Moses Mavundla, why they claim to be the leaders of the PAC.

Court battles continue to be the order of the day, while the party should be campaigning for the elections.

The two factions both claim to be the legitimate leaders of the PAC but that will be decided by the High Court, hopefully in time for the winning faction to register for the elections with the IEC next Wednesday.

Both factions are expected to be present in court on Thursday.
