Correctional Services records 146 more COVID19 recoveries

Active COVID19 cases stand at 1181 in Correctional Services facilities.

The Department of Correctional Services has reported a 76.8% recovery rate of COVID-19 infections in its facilities.

To date, the department has recorded 4 156 recoveries, a 146 increase since the last report.

The number of active cases in South African prison facilities stands at 1 181 with 74 reported deaths.
