Congo Brazaville and and the Democratic Republic of Congo are set to advance to the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations. That is according to SABC Digital News Sports Producer, Sipho Kekana.
Speaking on SABC’s PM News, Kekana says the coach of Congo, Claude Leroy’s understanding of the African players which has seen the team surprise many to the knockout stages, and with Equatorial Guinea enjoying local conditions, the two teams should be able to beat the DRC and Tunisia, respectively.
Congo takes on the DRC at 18h00, and Tunisia will face off against Equatorial Guinea at 21h30 on Saturday.
