It’s been 20 years of highs and lows for the Competition Commission but one of the highlights for the commission is the probe into bread price fixing.
Pioneer Foods, Tiger Brands and Premier Foods were found guilty by the Competition Commission of colluding to push up the cost of bread.
The Commission however says with all the strides made for a fair environment for South Africans to thrive – the slow economic growth is something out of their hands.
