Cold weather to grip some parts of SA

A cold front is expected to grip the eastern part of the country throughout the week until the weekend, this includes Gauteng.

Weather forecaster, Kgolofelo Mahlangu says, “ The reason for this is high system pressure that moved in yesterday into these parts bringing in the cold south easterly wind with the aid from the southern parts of the Indian ocean into the country. The high pressure system will dominate over these areas until end of the week and hence temperatures will not improve much throughout the week.”
