The South African Weather Services (SAWS) says a cold front which has made landfall in Cape Town already should also bring light rain to the rest of the Western Cape Province.

Forecaster Mmathapelo Makgabutlane says, “We here in the Cape Town region have already gotten the bulk of that cold frontal band.”

“We do expect areas along the south coast as well as the adjacent area to start getting a little bit of light rain. Then looking ahead to tomorrow along the south coast, there’s still a 30% chance of some light rain. Otherwise for the rest of tomorrow into the weekend, no further rain expected.”
