Former United States (US) President Bill Clinton and singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson are among those due to address the mourners at Aretha Franklin’s funeral.
The Queen of Soul will be laid to rest on Friday, with musical tributes coming from Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande.
The funeral will be held at the Greater Grace Temple in her hometown of Detroit.
On Thursday, a concert celebrating the life and career of the Queen of Soul brought thousands of fans together in the city.
More than 40 artists took to the stage at what was billed “A People’s Tribute to the Queen”, powering through some of her greatest hits two weeks after her death.
The US music icon died of cancer on the 16th of this month.
