Johannesburg’s City Power has warned of a planned power interruption on Saturday across several central suburbs.
City Power Spokesperson Sol Masolo says they will be doing maintenance work on their network.
Masolo says Milpark Hospital will be among the places affected, but there are plans in place to ensure that the day-to-day running of the hospital is not affected.
He says: “It will affect a number of suburbs, it will affect Milpark Hospital where we plan to do something to make sure that the hospital services are not affected.”
“It will also affect parts of Braamfontein, the SABC, John Hofmeyer, Sunnyside and Brixton areas. The power interruption will start at 6 in the morning and we expect to finish the repair and maintenance work at 12 midday,” adds Masolo.
