The objective is to support students during the exams period by assisting them with additional study hours.

From this coming Sunday to June 30, the libraries will be open to the public on Sundays.

Spokesperson of the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Community, Karabo Tladima says, “From the May 19 to June 30, 2019 the following libraries will be open to the public on Sundays from 9am until 3 o’clock in the afternoon: Diepsloot and Ivory Park North, Randburg, Florida, Jabavu and Protea North, Sandton, Yeoville and Johannesburg City Library, Orange Farm and Ennerdale.”

“This administration will continue to work hard to ensure that our residents have access to much needed basic services as and when they need them,” adds Tladima.
