DSTV Premiership strugglers Chippa United suffered a 3-2 loss to Marumo Gallants in East London on Saturday afternoon.

Chippa is still third from the bottom with just 17 points from 20 matches.

The Chilli Boys who led 2-1 at some stage are still winless at home so far this season.

The win for Gallants made sure that they moved away from the relegation zone, although they are still 11th on the log.

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo broke the deadlock in the 30th minute to give the visitors the lead.

Chippa found the equaliser in the 37th minute through Eva Nga. Nga gave Chippa the lead with a brilliant header in the 54th minute.

Gallants were awarded a penalty late in the second half, and Ndlondlo made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-all.

Joseph Malongoane scored the winning goal in the 90th minute to give the visitors maximum points.
