Despite fighting back from 2-0 down to level the scores, Dan Malesela says Chippa United failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage.

Chippa United coach, Dan Malesela, has lambasted his team after they played to a 2-2 draw against Moroka Swallows FC in a DStv Premiership match in Gqeberha on Saturday.

Swallows finished the game with 10 players after their striker Ruzaigh Gameldien was sent off the field in the second half.

The coach is disappointed with a number of things in the game.

“We stage a comeback to make the score 2-2. We are on top of these guys, they get a red card and we say ‘oh, let’s relax now; we are done.’ Don’t know whether people were tired or not, it’s not on; it’s not on. And sometimes when you put on substitutes, you are expecting more energy and difference you put on people and they don’t do anything. It says a lot.”
