Sundowns are still second on the log six points adrift Amakhosi.

Kaizer Chiefs have stretched their lead at the top of the ABSA Premiership after an emphatic 2-nil victory over second placed Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria this afternoon.

Serbian Samir Nurkovic scored a goal in each half to seal victory for Amakhosi.

Sundowns are still second on the log six points adrift of Amakhosi.

The match started in a blistering pace and Chiefs were rewarded in the seventh minute with a goal through Samir Nurkovic who appeared to be off-side when he received a pass from Leonardo Castro.

Nukorvic scored his brace twelve minutes from time after a good run by Dumisane Zuma.

The top performing Nukorvic nearly made it 3-nil after connecting with a good cross from the left.

Sundowns threw everything forward but their last attempt of the match was cleared off the line in injury time.
