Durban will be the centre of attraction when Kaizer Chiefs entertain visitors Ajax Cape Town in an Absa Premiership match at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday (start at 8.15pm).

This mouth-watering clash will mark the last of the three matches that Amakhosi were scheduled to play this season at their alternative home base in Durban.

The corresponding clash on October 15 was significant when Amakhosi visited and 45 000 fans packed the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Lorenzo Gordinho and George Lebese scored to hand Amakhosi a 2-0 victory.

The match has all the hallmarks to turn into a real festivity. Both teams collected three valuable points in their last match. Chiefs beat Platinum Stars 1-0 and Ajax brought down Chippa United with the same scoreline.

For Amakhosi there will be the added incentive of keeping within the log leaders while for Ajax it is a matter of staying clear of the relegation zone.

Chiefs are third on the log with 19 points from 14 outings, trailing leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by only three points.

Ajax are flirting with the relegation zone with 13 points to their name, two points away from the bottom team Bidvest Wits.
