UDM Chief Whip Nqabayomzi Kwankwa says no reasons were given for the postponement.

The Parliamentary Chief Whips Forum meeting that was meant to take place early Wednesday morning has been postponed to later Wednesday afternoon.

This has been confirmed by the United Democratic Movement (UDM) and African National Congress (ANC) Chief Whips office.

UDM Chief Whip Nqabayomzi Kwankwa says no reasons were given for the postponement.

“We were informed via e-mail that the chief whip’s forum which was scheduled to take place at 8 o clock in the morning today (Wednesday) has been postponed to two o clock in the afternoon. The most unfortunate part of the e-mail is that as it was with the original e-mail which called for an urgent chief whips forum, there were no reasons for the change of time or the postponement. It’s unfortunate because remember even us as political parties we have our own programme. However, we will wait for that two o’ clock meeting and make our representations there.”
