Late Minister of Public Service and Administration, Collins Chabane’s brother says he will remember him for his humility and selflessness.

Chabane, 54, and his two bodyguards died on Sunday in a car crash on the N1 between Polokwane and Mokopane.

He was born on April 15, 1960 at Xikundu Village, Limpopo Province. He joined the African National Congress underground activities at an early age of 17 and went to exile in May 1980.

Speaking on AM Live, Percy Chabane says some of the family members are not coping. He says his mother is not taking the minister’s death well. “He his wife has accepted it and one of his daughters is receiving counselling”.
