The late Minister of Public Service and Administration Collins Chabane was a man for all seasons; a brilliant politician holding court with the best political minds, and also a naturally talented artist.
On stage, Chabane was a musician passionate about the promotion of Xitsonga traditional music and preserving the language.
In the six years that Chabane spent on Robben Island from 1984 to 1990, music was his companion, friend and neighbour.
