The memorial service of SABC radio and television veteran Cebo Manyaapelo will take place at the public broadcaster’s offices in Mahikeng in the North West Tuesday morning.
Manyaapelo died last week after a long illness. Representatives from government including the Communications and Sports departments are expected to attend the memorial service.
Manyaapelo, the man who is celebrated for his poetic commentary and his long love for football will be remembered by industry colleagues, football fans, his listeners and the public in general.
The man, 50 old Manyaapelo who has a career spanning over 30 years as a broadcaster and sports commentator has been lauded for his vast contribution in the development of football.
His funeral services is expected to be held on Thursday.
