Activists marched through central Nairobi in October to hand over to the police a petition, signed by 1.2 million people around the world, decrying the force’s inaction over rape in Kenya.
In October, two Diepsloot toddlers were found mutilated in a public toilet near their home. They were raped and killed. Out of the suspects initially arrested, one man is facing murder charges.
