South African athletics’ golden girl, Caster Semenya, is challenging the IAAF’s rule change on testosterone levels in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The world athletics body rule change is due to come into effect in November.

The changes apply only to middle distance races, including those at world championships and the Olympic Games, in which Semenya has been a world-beater.

In her court papers, she argues that the rule changes are discriminatory, irrational, unjustifiable, and in violation of the IAAF Constitution, the Olympic Charter and the laws of Monaco – where the IAAF is based.
